Groenendael

A Groenendael is defined by its deep black coat, which can become difficult to read in low light if not handled properly. I design Groenendael signs, stickers and keychains by working specifically on visibility in shadow, dusk and backlit situations.

A Groenendael is defined by its deep black coat, which can become difficult to read in low light if not handled properly. I design Groenendael signs, stickers and keychains by working specifically on visibility in shadow, dusk and backlit situations.

I build each design to keep the dog clearly identifiable without relying on artificial outlines. The objective is to preserve the natural look of the Groenendael while ensuring the silhouette remains visible in real conditions.

I think about how the design behaves at different times of day, when contrast drops and details disappear. This allows the sign to stay effective even when lighting is not ideal.

I develop these products for gates, entrances and vehicles, where perception changes depending on angle and environment. Materials are selected to maintain clarity and stability over time.

I also adapt this approach to car stickers and keychains, ensuring the black coat remains readable even at smaller scale.

With this collection, I provide a way to represent your Groenendael with controlled contrast, stable visibility and designs that remain effective beyond perfect lighting conditions.
